About Newborn Safety Fotopia takes newborn safety very seriously, safety always comes first in every singe session. It is very important to have the knowledge and skills to handle newborns safely at the same time creating beautiful poses and images. ​ Newborn Posing It may seem very easy to pose the newborns, however it requires a lot of experience, knowledge, and skills in order to pose the newborns beautifully and safely. ​ Regulating the Heat Newborn's circulatory system is immature and the body temperatures can rise and drop quickly. Therefore requires constant monitoring and regulations of the room temprature. ​ Hygiene Controls We use only washable clothes and props to protect the baby's sensitive skin. The washing detergents and softeners we use are baby safe products. PROFILE Newborn Photographer Satoko Iida Satoko Iida is one of the most recognized newborn photographer in Japan. She was born in Tokyo and brought up in N.Y. in her childhood years. After graduating Sophia University Japan, she worked in a global financial company. After giving birth to her daughter, Satoko started her career as a portrait photographer and established Fotopia Photography. The Client agrees that he/she is responsible for all parties involved with the agreed upon photo session. If there is an individual involved in the photo session who does not agree to the terms of this agreement the Client assumes responsibility for any liability. ​ ​ Limit of Liability ・ Fotopia Photography by Satoko Iida is not held responsible for any injury or illness inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) with be responsible for their child and for themselves and release the photographer from any claims against their person or their business. ​ ・ If your child has any illness, allergies or other medical conditions, please be sure to consult the photographer in advance to ensure safety.
